Dr. Fabio Ugolini, Ph.D.
Work package leader
Fabio Ugolini received a Ph. D. degree in 2013 from the ETH in Zürich, where he researched biofilms in natural sediment. He worked afterwards at the University Hospital of Zurich and at the Swiss Federal Water Institute (EAWAG) on microbial invasion strategies and as a consultant on microbial water quality assessment. He joined INNOVA in 2016 and is now involved in several H2020 projects where he contributes to develop the financing, communication, dissemination and commercialization strategies.
Degree in Political Science from the University LA SAPIENZA in Rome, she is Senior Consultant at Innova. Since 1999 she has been responsible, as Project Manager, for the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT and COORDINATION of more than 80 European Projects, co-financed by the European Commission for Development and Scientific Research. As Communication Manager, she has organized several events and workshops for the dissemination of project results, both from a conceptual and a logistical point of view. In the last seven years she has been particularly involved in activities related to INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND COMMUNICATION (ICT). From 2005 to date she is also a consultant specialized in training courses, always in the framework of programs funded by the European Commission, especially in the areas of Innovation and Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and European Financing Programs.
Antonio Fusco is a communication specialist with 10+ years experience in development of integrated communication plans. He received a Masters in Marketing and Communication from Ateneo Impresa in 2004 and a Masters in Economy and Management of Media and Communication, specializing in marketing, from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome in 2011. He has a wide range of experience in corporate communication, web design, web content management and project management. He is the Digital Communications Manager for INNOVA and is responsible for the planning and management of internal and external communication activities.
